explore the luminous beauty and versatility of encaustic - painting with molten, pigmented wax.

Learn techniques to build layers and texture.

Fuse, stencil, embed objects, incise, apply image transfer and collage.

Open to all levels.

DAY 1

Comprehensive introduction to encaustic for those who are new to it,

or an open studio for students who want time to work and just need a quick review of techniques.

The workshop will include information on materials, equipment, safety and demonstrations of collage,

image transfer and other mixed media techniques.

DAY 2

Will allow students to have extra time to work.
